The Hope Scott Trust help promotes Music in Scotland, particularly to applicants who are Scottish by birth, or live permanently in Scotland. Funding from the Trust can help musicians with grants for commissions, travel and musical events etc.
Grants very rarely exceed £2,000 and more commonly are for lesser sums. The trustees normally meet three times a year usually in March, June and October. Applications have to be handed in – at latest – one month before the meeting date.
