Songwriters -get the best out of online live sessions.

January 27

A workshop for songwriters to get the best out of online live sessions.

The Next Stage (TNS) has been working throughout the pandemic in order to provide a space for artists to have a creative response to the current situation and shed some light on the impact Covid has had on performers.

We are a multi-arts social media platform aiming to work for the performing community to stay together and support one another. Using high quality filming and recording equipment we have been working to bring back a sense of liveness to performing under these difficult circumstances. For us, not having that creative outlet is not an option.

We want to give back to the community that has helped us make this project possible by making their voices be heard.

We are looking for four solo artists to take part in our brand-new project ‘Do It Yourself’. A two week intensive workshop focussed on producing a quality product to showcase your music, that looks class, sounds class and brings out the true quality of your work.

You’ll create original pieces through a series of masterclasses spread over two weeks. Focusing on songwriting and performance, which you’ll then develop into a finished, high quality live session through sound recording and video production tutorials. We have been very lucky to be able to produce high-quality programs and we want you to be able to do the same within your means.

The workshop culminates in a TNS live stream showcase. Using all of the artists finished products, alongside a chat about their experience as performers during the pandemic and the benefits of being able to produce work you’re proud to share live.
